It's safe to say that Local Instinct could effortlessly blend right into the playlist at 93X at any given time. Creating sounds similar to that of early Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, the quintet making up Local Instinct (Zeb Petersen on vocals and guitar, Josh Ekerholm on keys and vocals, Dylan Jennings on bass and spoken word, Chad Carlson sharing vocals and guitar and Jeremy Horvath on drums) nails solid hooks, moody lyrics and lingering vocals. On "Early," Petersen and gang sincerely warn "My love, you have become the morning without air, time is not your friend, what you have you're spending, take a look, don't be the next to go early."

LI's been making music since 2000. "Underwater Dream" is their third album and a confident follow-up to 2004's, "3 Empty Rooms," the group's second CD distributed throughout Europe.
